KINDIG SARAH ELVA born: 01/18/1898 F OKLAHOMA father: SHELDON died: KERN 07/12/1955 age: 57 yrs requested by: [email protected] Bakersfield Californian, Wednesday, July 13, 1955 Kindig, Sarah Elva - Funeral services will be conducted in Greenlawn Chapel tomorrow at 10 a.m. for Sarah Elva Kindig, 57, 2209 Quincy St. who died July 12. The rev. Charlie Edwin Lord of the Trinity Methodist Church will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Kindig was a native of Marshall, Oklahoma and had resided in Bakersfield for 36 years. She was a registered nurse employed at the Kern General Hospital for several years and a former member of the Kern County Nurses Association. Mrs. Kindig was also a member of the Trinity Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Emmanuel N. Kindig; and a sister, Miss Maude Eva Hendricks, both of Bakersfield; another sister, Mrs. Martha Misak of Bluff City, Kansas; three brothers, Albert T. Hendricks, Shafter; Henry Hendricks, Potwin, Kansas; and Ira Hendricks, Jefferson, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lewis, Martin Mones, Roy Beshears, Jack Smith, Lewis Olsen and Harvey Davis. Sharon Kern Co Volunteer
