Sep. 15 - Funeral servcies were held here yesterday for willima Buford Fulfer, 24, killed last week when his car crashed into a truck on the Golden State Highway. Large Bouquets of flowers decorated the Henry Janzen Funeral Home in which the services were conducted before the body was interred in the Shafter Cemetery. The accident victim leaves his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fulfer of Shafter, residents here 8 years; his sisters Mrs. Jack Ratzlaff of Old River and Laureen and Betty Jean Fulfer of Shafter, and a brother John Fulfer of Bakersfield. The Rev. P. L. Albany of Wasco officiated and delivered the sermon. Mrs. O.P. Humphrey, L. Rogs, Mr. and Mrs. J. David Taylor, Mrs. John Elry and Joe Russell presented a musical program during the service.
