She was a native of California, having been born at Darwin. Mrs. Garris is survived by her husband, Albert E. Garris; four sons, Clarence McDonald, and James, William and Thomas Garris; five daughters, Bettie McDonald, Leonia McDonald, and Effie Mary, Nadine, and Elsie Garris; three brothers, Arthur and Marion Cold and Irving McDonald and one sister, Mrs. Mabel Giraud, all of Kern County.
