D8: Kaizer, Theodore "Ted" - Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Hopson Mortuary Chapel and Mass said at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ The King Church for Theodore "Ted" Kaizer, 92, 2709 Peerless Ave., who died March 22. The Rev. Msgr. Thomas McGovern will officiate. Kaizer was a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and had lived in Bakersfield since 1912. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of VFW Post 6601 and Veterans of World War I Barracks 432. He was employed by Standard Oil as a gauger for 39 years, retiring in 1952. Survivors include his son, Ted of Bakersfield; four daughters, Eileen smith of Visalia, Kathleen Olsen of Bakersfield, Dorothy Evans of Bakersfield and Helen AF Enehjelm of Finland; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Military services will be held in Union Cemetery by the World War I Barracks 432 with Bob Gunning and Claude Enyart officiating.
