Rev. Elmer Keith of the Foursquare Church will officiate and interment will follow in the Oak Hill section of Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. McGuffey was a native of Missouri and had lived in Bakersfield 14 years. Survivors include five daughters, Ida Brown of Los Angeles, Alice Qualls of Haggersville, Ark., Mary Oxford, Rilla Vincent and Venie Rollins of Bakersfield; one son, Willie McGuffey of Sanger; one sister, Mary Holt of Lawton, Michigan; two brothers, Dick McGuffey of Kissimmee, Florida and Will McGuffey of Batesville, Ark.; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchilren. Pallbearers include Odis Freeman, Jim Ponton, Ben Nikkel, Douglas Ringler, William Hardcastle and Kenneth Lytle.
