Dr. Frank F. Mason officiated. The deceased was a native of Mexico City, Mexico. He had lived in Bakersfield for the past 5 years. He was a veteran of WW II, having service with the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a mining engineer for the Richfield Oil Co. Survivors include his widow, Jo Ann, two daughters, Marian and Susan; mother Mrs. Marian C. Ritter; a brother Frederick D. Ritter of Los Angeles, and a nephew, William Clayton Ritter of Los Angeles. Pallbearers were I.M. Bumgardner, John Cowan, Charles Champion, Marion Kalar, Eugene Nichols and Bill Miller.
