Brother Bill Nazaroff will officiate and burial will be in the Shafter Cemetery. Susie was a native of Russia and had lived in this community since 1926. She was a long time member of the Russian Christian Molokan Church. Survivors include her devoted children, Sam W. Chernabaeff, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Alex W. Chernabaeff, of Bakersfield, June Portnoff of Paso Robles and Anna Kochergen of Austria; her brothers, John Mendrin of Madera, and Steve Mendrin of Kermin; her sisters, Jean Nazaroff of Kermin, Mary Matchniff of Montebello; also 15 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
