Rev. Chris Ummel will officiate and interment will follow in Shafter Memorial Park. Mrs. Parks, a homemaker was born in Auroa, Missouri, and came to Shafter area in 1937. She had resided in Bakersfield since 1966. Survivors include one son, Darrel of Blue Jay, California; two daughters, Dixie Sage of Bakersfield, and Betty Spiva of Shafter; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
