The Rev. Leon Stabough of Bakersfield will officiate. Mr. Jarrett was born in Grance, Arkansas and had resided in kern County 18 years. He was employed at various ranches in the Shafter area. He was a veteran of WW II and the Korean War. Survivors include two sons, Edward Jarrett of Long Beach and Joe Clenton, who is serving in the armed forces in Washington; daughter Rosie Wood of Massachusetts; two sisters Fleecie Arnold of Arkansas and Retha Sims of Arkansas; and 5 grandchildren.
