Pastor Lanny Lloyd of Stine Road Baptist Church will officiate and interment will follow at North Kern Cemetery in Delano. Norman Hill was born May 19, 1920, in Leonard Oklahoma to John and Bradus Hill. He came to McFarland, CA in 1945. He married Marie Kirby on October 15, 1994, in Wasco. He retired from Kern County Road Dept. in 1982. Norman is survived by his wife, Marie Kirby Hill of Bakersfield; son James Hill and wife, Carmel of Roseville, CA; stepsons, Bill Kirby, Jr. and Roger Kirby of Bakersfield; stepdaughter, Peggy Clemens of Bakersfield; brothers, J. C. Hill and en Hill, both of Sepulpa, OK and Rev. Tom Ed Hill of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Lois Beeman, Mary Jordon and Pat Miller, all of Sepulpa, OK; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 54 years, Evelyn Marie Malone Hill; his twin brother Neil Richard Hill; and sisters, Johnnie, Joan and Bonnie Hill.
