He was born in San Francisco, Jan. 3, 1876 and had resided here for the past 10 years. He was a retired jeweler and made his home here at 909-A Quincy St. He is survived by his sons F. Norman of Bakersfield and Elmer H. Peters of Oakland, and by his grandchildren, Marie Brown and Clair Jean Mayfield, both of Oakland. The Masonic Lodge will officiate at services and the remains will be cremated following services and the ashes will be placed in Bakersfield Memorial Park. Peters was a member of Union Number 17 San Francisco, F & AM of the Scottish Rite IV, San Francisco and a life memberof the Great Council of the United States Improved Order of Red Men.
