The Rev. Jim Lenier, pastor of the Riverview Baptist church will officiate and interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Thomas was born in Bakersfield and had lived here all her life. She was graduated from North High in 1965. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She married James Thomas, April 10, 1965, and their child, Kent James Thomas was born December 19. Other survivors include her father, Edward C. Gilmore of Orange; her mother, Mrs. Dan McGriff of Oildale; grandparents, Mrs. Pearl Graves of Plainsville, Arkansas nd Mrs. Maggie Gilmore of Orange; and two sisters, Mrs. Lana P. Bartlett of Los Angeles and Mrs. Connie Deems of Bakersfield. Pallbearers will be Louis De'Maria, Don Foster, Jimmy foster, Gene Giggs, Orvil Bartlett, and Orvil Bartlett, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Creekbaum and Tommy Carter.
