The deceased was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Kern County for the past 25 years. Survivors include three sons: Andy Wheat of Corcoran, Emmett Wheat of Tahlequah, Okla., and Harvey WIheat of McAllistar, Okla., one daughter, Mrs. Tildah Sterle of Lamont. He also leaves 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Interment will be Tuesday, Oct 30, in The Oak Hills Cemetery, McAllistar, Okla.
