We have a new feature thanks to the beta test which may simplify things for SOCAL-ers. You may have noticed you only see "SOCAL@rootsweb.com" on your messages and digests (no more "-L"). From now on, the posting address is simply SOCAL@rootsweb.com and the default subscription address is SOCAL-request@rootsweb.com. The default mode is "list" version. If you sub or unsub from the "digest" version, you will use the old SOCAL-D-request@rootsweb.com. Digesters, please note: if you are having difficulty with receiving digests or the appearance of them let me know. I'm having to manually check "plain" for digest subscribers. Thanks! ps for those of you on my other lists such as NORCAL which are NOT in beta test, the above changes do not apply.
