Rev. D. V. C. Black and Rev. T. A. Litov will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Wattenbarger was a native of Selma and resided in Kern County 42 years. She attended Standard Elementary and Kern County Union High School and received a college degree in piano. She was an active member in St. Mark's Methodist Church; past president of Ruth Circle, past president of Women Society of Christian Service, a member of North of the River Women's Club and Kiwanians. Survivors include her widower, Ernest; one son, Don Wattenbarger of Oildale; five daughters, Betty and Jan Wattenbarger, both of the home address, Mrs. Shirley Simpson of Bakersfield, Mrs. Joy Machowsky of San Luis Obispo and Mrs. Jill Robinson of Oildale; her mother, Mrs. Violet Shaw of Oildale; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Strong of Pomona and Mrs. LaVaughn Holland of Bakersfield; three brothers, Frank Shaw of Long Beach, George Shaw of Connecticut and John Shaw of Illinois; and six grandchildren.
