The Rev. Arthur Braden D. D., will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Brantley had lived in this area for the past four years and in Kern County since 1927, being a native of Wayne County, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Bertha F. Brantley of Bakersfield; five sons ? Brantley, Los Angeles, James R. Brantley, Choko, Minn., Charles E. Brantley, Fresno, Lee Brantley, Bakersfield, Orvell Brantley of Los Angeles; four daughters, Mrs. Cloa Monsen, Los Angeles, Mrs. Margaret Emigh, Bakersfield, Mrs. Lois Roberts, Bakersfield, Mrs. Edna Julian of Bakersfield; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
