Pack, 78, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the H. R. Borgsdorf Mortuary. The Rev. J. A. Maxwell will officiate and interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Mr. Pack was born in Tennessee and had lived in Arvin for the last 18 years. He resided at 548 Walnut Dr. and was a retired farm worker. He died in a Bakersfield hospital Jan. 9. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ollie May Pack of the residence; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Viettl and Mrs. Effie Painter, both of Arvin; Mrs. Lula Patrick of Bell Gardens and Mrs. Lena Azlin of Wewoka, Okla; sons, Bill Ayler of Arvin; Nathan Pack of Bakersfield; Lee Ray Pack of Sunnyvale; Claude Pack of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles Ayler of Wewoka, Okla.; one sister; one brother; 25 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
