Hi Betty, I show a 43-year old married, salesman, Robert R. Lockhart, with no children and a 36-year old wife Margaret, born in Kentucky; they were living in Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills in 1930. The information says he was immigrated in 1910 and was Canada-English, as were his mother and father. He was married at 39 and had no children. I show a 50-year-old, unmarried, farmer, Robert and a single 18-year-old son, James Lockhart, living in Marin County, Point Reyes Station in 1930. The information says he was born in Northern Ireland, as were his mother and father. He immigrated to the US in 1900. These are the only two showing up as being foreign born in the 1930 census in California. Email me for more particulars if either of these is the correct person. Hello, As per my other posting, a Canadian researcher is trying to find out whether the Robert LOCKHART living in or near Los Angeles around 1910 to 1920 is the person he is looking for information on ! (Arriving in Canada as a "British Home Child" in 1884.) I found him on census forms in 1910, with a wife and other people in his household. And, to both of us, the information is .. not really correct ! In fact, the information seems "way off." I was wondering if someone with access to the 1930 census could see if he was still living in southern CA and which data is found for him then ! He would like to find out if Robert LOCKHART had any descendants. Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA) ==== SOCAL Mailing List ==== Do NOT post virus notices to the list.
