Dr. D. W. McElroy of the First Christian Church will officiate at the services and interment will follow in the Oak Hills Section at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Brantley was a native of Illinois and had resided in Kern County for 35 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include five sons, Lonzo of San Francisco, James of Minnesota, Charles of Pleasanton, Lee of Bakersfield, and Orvell of Hollywood; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Julian of Bakersfield, Mrs. Cloa Monsen of Los Angeles, Mrs. Margaret Emigh of Bakersfield, Mrs. Lois Roberts of Bakersfield; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Van Ornum, Mrs. Edna Pence, and Mrs. Ellen Lowrey, all of Minnesota; two brothers, Charles Gordon of Illinois and Lee Gordon of California; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
