TERRY No Service will be held Mr. Terry was born February 10, 1924 in Oklahoma. He passed away Sept. 17, 1994 at the age of 70, in Bakersfield CA. He was a licensed cosmetologist who owned several beauty shops in Bakersfield. For the last 20 years, he was a general contractor and owner of Kern Plumbing and Construction. He was awarded the 1993 City of Bakersfield Community Development award. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Irene Terry; children, sons Leonard J. Terry, Jr. of Canada; Reginald L. Terry of Oklahoma; Leonard Jack Terry, IV and William K. Terry, III of Bakersfield; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren;brother, Tommy Terry of Bakersfield; sisters, Marry Miller of Bakersfield and Margaret King of Caruthers.
