The Rev. Carlton Ellis of Central Southern Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lakeside section at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Sprause was a native of Oklahoma. He had been engaged in construction business for two years as a crane operator and was last employed by the Atomic Energy Commission. He was a member of Local Union 12. Survivors include his widow, Mary L. Sprouse of Arroyo Grande; four sons, Bobby Dale Sprouse, twins Gary Wayne and Cary Lane Sprouse, all of the home address, and Troy Sprouse; three daughters, Troieleen Sprouse of the home address, Diana Gale Hill and Sandra Sheryl Sprouse, both of Oxnard; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts Sprouse of Bakersfield; a brother, John Ervin Sprouse of Ridgecrest; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Marney, Mrs. Lorene Jones and Mrs. Jane Rhodes, all of Bakersfield; grandmother, Mrs Lena Clampitt of Santa Paula; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
