Military personal and members of the VFW will officiate. Mr. Peek was born in Cushing, Okla., and had lived in Kern County for the past 37 years. Mr. Peek is survived by his wife, Clara, of Bakersfield; 2 daughters, Mrs. Marie Reed of Glendale and Mrs. Dena Savage of La Mirada; sister, Mrs. Lucille Suther of San Jose and 6 grandchildren. Mr. Peek was a veteran of WW2 and served in Italy. He was a member of the famous Blue Devils and was the recipient of the silver star with an oak leaf cluster, medal of honor unit citation, and many other medals.
