St., who died Aug. 25 in his home. The Rev. G. E. Lackey and the Rev. James A. Askew of the Central Baptist Church, Greenfield, will officiate and interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Strickland was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Bakersfield for 21 years. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Strickland, 505 F St.; one son, Barney Strickland, Texas; two daughters, Christine Sheffield and Wanda Trapp, both of Bakersfield; one sister, Mrs. Kelly Anderson, Denver, Colo.; and 12 grandchildren.
