Folks, Rootsweb is changing/upgrading the software the listowners use to manage the lists and our list, SOCAL-L, will be part of the beta testing. For those of you on the digest version (about 47 of you), there will be new instructions added to the digest email that is sent and the digest volume and issue numbers may be different. Otherwise, you as list subscribers should see no change but I will be working with new software. If you notice anything unusual or confusing, please email me privately as soon as possible. <SOCAL-admin@rootsweb.com> or <ybowers@comcast.net>. I will be subscribed to a beta list for discussion of successes, issues, etc. and will be sure to come back to you with answers to your questions. The list will be migrated to the new software sometime tomorrow (6/17/06).
