Flick, 81, who died Dec. 2 in Bakersfield. The Rev. James L. Kephart will officiate. Mr. Flick was born in April 24th, 1907, in Sparks, Oklahoma, the son of William and Maude Flick. At an early age he moved to Southern California. In 1927 he married Mary Virginia Neal. Mr. Flick worked in orange packing houses in Highland, then moved to Edison in 1938 where he was a citrus ranch manager until retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Edison School Board for 35 years, member of Eagle Lodge No. 93. Mr. Flick was preceded in death by his parents , three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 61 years, son, Richard Flick of Bakersfield and a daughter, Beverly Parks of Hesperia; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister, Frances Brownback of Whitefish, Mont., and Mildred Lott of Hungry Horse, Mont. Casket bearers will be: Ray Leist, Pete Brawley, Robert Carrish, Glen Baker, Bob Claborn and Clarence Crow.
