The county's traffic toll for 1947 now stands at 121. Killed were Paul Franklin Bryant, 5508 Merriewood Drive, Oakland, and Norman Rocco Sementilli, 6 Bemis Road, Newtonville, Mass., riders on the motorcycle. In critical condition in Kern General Hospital is Ernest L. Morgan, 46, Box 197, Lebec, who was struck by the machine. After hitting Morgan, highway patrol official say,the motorcycle went out of control and crashed to the guard rail, throwing the two riders off. Patrol Officers H. L. Stumbaugh and L. H. Nelson investigated the accident. Sixteen other persons received injuries in accidents over the week end.
