BRYANT SUMMONED BEYOND Valrey Iness Bryant, 56, wife of Thomas F. Bryant of 702 Tyler street, passed away in a Bakersfield hospital Sunday evening after an illness of several months. Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Baptist Church of Taft. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 11, 1887, Mrs. Bryant had been a resident of the West Side for the past 13 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters and one son: Constance Aline Moore of Taft; Doris Bryant of Bakersfield and Pauline Bryant Jackson, Ellen Maude Brockett and Paul Bryant, all of Oakland; a brother, Glenn Perrish of Indianapolis and two grandsons, Harold Flint of Taft and Robert Markley of Oakland. Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Peter K. Flaming officiating. Interment followed in the West Side Cemetery.
