I went to a Long Beach Historical Tour of the above cemetery last Saturday. It was a interesting experience for me since I have family members in this cemetery. My grandmother, Ruby Myers and grandfather, Alvin Myers are buried there. Also a infant brother of mine is burried there, Donald Lyng. The tour consisted of several gravesites being talked about and people acting as the buried one telling about their lives. This cemetery was started in 1906 and has alot of ornate markers which are very interesting. This site is on Signal Hill where oil is drilled. This cemetery is a landmark in Long Beach.
