At the suggestion of Mr. Hough I contacted the Autry Museum of Western Heritage (www.autry-museum.org) requesting information about Cordero ancestors. They were very prompt with their reply. The Raymond Wood Collection consists of the research notes compiled by Dr. Raymond Wood from his study of Spanish soldiers in CA. The collection consists of about1000 index cards arranged alphabetically by name. Dr. Wood noted on the cards where he found a reference to the named person, and sometimes included additional biographical information. There are some other documents also. The Research Center will do a search of the collection for a limit of 3 names. They will photocopy what they find. There is no fee for this search. Jeannie Cordero
