I am searching for additional information on my Grandfather Horace Walter Turner b. ca 1901 in KA. Horace married my grandmother, Ethel Catherine Fisher in 1920/21. There were three children born of this marriage 1. Wallace Turner b. unknown 2. unknown baby girl (older twin) 3. Ardath Mary Turner b. 20 August 1923 in el Segundo, CA. (2nd twin) Until this evening I had understood that my mom's sister had died in delivery, however, my mom's birth certificate indicates that she was the third living child of this marriage and the second of in order of birth. Another mystery to solve. I believe Horace lived in the San Diego CA area however a search of the Social Security Death Index indicates that a Horace Turner passed away in N. Hollywood, CA. According to the Birth Certificate his occupation was "Engineer" and he worked for "Standard oil Refy." Any information on Horace "WALTER" Turner would be very much appreciated. Gregory the CA Death Index online at http://vitals.rootsweb.com/ca/death/search.cgi lists a Horace Walter Turner born 07/01/1901 Male Kansas died San Diego Co (37) 3/21/1979 SSAN 572-12-274; 77 yrs.
