I cannot help with Horace WALTER Turner. But when you mentioned North Hollywood, I thought I ought to note that my uncle, Horace FRASER Turner (b. 1907 IA), lived in North Hollywood from 1934 until 1999. Although he died in Porterville in 2000, it was in a nursing home and his last social security address was probably still North Hollywood. If your SSDI date on Horace Turner was 2000, it was probably my uncle and not your grandfather. According to the Birth Certificate his occupation was "Engineer" and he worked for "Standard oil Refy." Any information on Horace "WALTER" Turner would be very much appreciated.
