I Folks I am new to the list. I am trying to locate the Helderle Family. William Anderson Blizzard and Evangeline Harper Blizzard had a daughter Oretta (Ora) Mae Blizzard that was born in Iowa and she married a man by the name of HELDERLE. According to her mother and father's obituaries she was living in Linwood in LA County in the 1929 and 1930's and in her brother's obituaries living in Alhambra during the 1940 and 1950's. I found that Ora died April 30, 1970 in Los Angeles County. I would like for someone to transcribe or send copy of obituary for me. Maybe in this way I could find out who she married. Are the marriage records made available without going thru all of red tape and cost to get one? I have not been able to find any California marriage records. Ora and Mr. Helderle had 3 children, (1) Evelyn B. Helderle born Mar. 2, 1913, (2) Unnamed Male born Aug. 15. 1916, and (3) Donald Elroy Helderle born Feb. 27, 1927. I have been working with a lady on the NORCAL list that has just been a super special person in helping me get the data of the Blizzard's of Northern California. William Blizzard left NC for California. On his was he made a stop off in Des Moines, Iowa where he married and they had 3 boys and a girl (Ora) and when they arrived in CA they had one more boy.
