Does anyone know were I could find a list of Veteran's Hospitals in CA. I tried Switchboard, etc. My sister has Agent's Orange disease and had a botched surgery in one of them. I'm trying to track her down. She was in Carpintaria in '75. Thanks. La Jones
You probably need to contact the Veterans' Administration of the Federal Gov't. They may list them on-line like the National Cemeteries are. There was a VA hospital in Long Beach. I don't know if it is still operational, & I'm sure there were others. There's a Jerry L. Pettis (sp?) Veteran Hospital that I think is in or near Redlands. The state government of California also has "Veterans' Homes" in Barstow & Yountville. They are basically retirement homes. You can find them from the state home page www.ca.gov Phil pvc@vancamp.org . ----- Original Message ----- From: lj <laujones1@prodigy.net> To: <NORCAL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 03, 2000 8:48 PM Subject: VETERAN'S HOSPITALS > Does anyone know were I could find a list of Veteran's Hospitals in CA.
