The Reverend J. R. DeLap of the Wayside Baptist Church will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Richford was a native of Shelbeysville, Indiana and had lived in Bakersfield 54 years. She was a member of the Oildale Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Bertie Harold Richford; sons Albert M. Ward and Leonard Frank Ward; daughters Mrs. Hazel Bischoff all of Bakersfield; Mrs. Alice Reed of Caliente, her father Mr. Edward Thompson of Lompoc and brothers Cecil Thompson of Lompoc and Clifford Thompson of Canyon City, Colorado; sisters Mrs. Mayme Aspittle, Riverside, Mrs. Lillian Claudino, Vallejo; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
