The Rev Neil Hudson of the First Baptist Church of Taft will officiate and entombment will follow at the West Side Mausoleum. A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Quandt had resided on his own oil producing lease in McKittrick the past 40 years. He was the husband of the late Margaret Olive Quandt, who died 11 months ago. He had served the Taft Community Concert board, American Red Cross board and McKittrick School Board, was past president of the McKittrick Civic Club, member of the Taft Camera Club and the Knights of Pythias. Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Mae C. Owen of McKittrick and Mrs. Marjorie Presley of Wasco; a brother James B. Quandt of Culver City; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Heart Fund. Bakersfield Californian, Monday, March 26, 1973 Quandt, Margaret Olive - Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Erickson & Brown Chapel for Margaret Olive Quandt, 81, of McKittrick, who died Friday in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Neil Hudson of the First Baptist Church of Taft will officiate and entombment will follow at the West Side District Mausoleum. A native of Newport, KY, Mrs. Quandt was born Nov. 5, 1891 and resided in McKittrick the past 39 years.
