hi list, I want to get one thing cleared up right now. It seems a (few bad people) on this list, think I am doing the unspeakable. Let me assure you that is not my intentions. I am sure none of you on this list have money to throw away, if you do then please by all means throw some my way. I am merely trying to get old photographs, and documents that I find back in the hands of the families they come from. I make no profit off this venture at all. I am just merely asking to get paid back for what I spent out to begin with. and I am sure in my mind that all of you would to do same thing. if this idea offends those of you who are (the bad people) on this list, then so be it. I am truly sorry for you. it offends me, that those (bad people) on this list have to persecute me or the list owner for something as petty as this....... excuse e' maw' ........and I'd just love to drop a few of the names that I have gotten nasty emails from.....can I?

I didn't find anything offensive about your post. I didn't feel you were trying to sell anything. I will admit that I was a bit confused by it, because you didn't indicate where the people in the photograph's were from. What you discovered was the "anti-compensation" people on these list who go ballistic if they see someone possibly making money on anything geneology related. I used to run into them when I did L.A. obits for a fee. I finally gave up on the idea not because of their critical comments, but because 95% of the obits I looked for didn't exist. The one's that I did find, and people did pay for, were extremely valuable in tying up many family mysteries.
