Goodwin, 71, of Bakersfield, who died February 10, 1987, at Kern Medical Center following a valiant fight against cancer. He was born in Park City, Utah and moved to Los Angeles in the early 1920's. He moved to Bakersfield, 2 years ago to be close to his son, after his wife of 45 years passed away in February of 1985. He is survived by his son, Scott (Tex) and JuDee Goodwin of Bakersfield; his sisters, Doris, Gloria and Dorcas of Southern Calif; his grandchildren, Michael, Robben, Kimry, Gregory, Robert and Great-grandchildren, Ryan and Sadie, all of Bakersfield.
