J. Leahy, 68, a former resident of Taft for several years and well-known throughout the West Side before making his residence at San Jose a year ago, died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Taft. Mr. Leahy had come to Taft about 10 days ago to attend the funeral of his son-in-law Charles del Bondio. The day after the service he suddenly became ill. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie Leahy of San Jose; two sons Joe Leahy of Paso Robles and Leo Leahy of Los Angeles and a daughter Mrs. Charles del Bondio of Taft. Funeral services will be held at the Taft Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. Burial services in charge of the Bakersfield Elks Lodge will be in Bakersfield Union Cemetery. Sharon Kern Co.
