Laura; I checked the death records for San Diego County and could not find anything on her so she must have died before 1905, if she did die in San Diego County. I checked the death records before that as well, but did not find anything, but since they were not required to register deaths before 1905, that does not necessarily mean that she did not die in San Diego before 1905. You said that she may have died in July 1901. I checked the papers for that month for a death record, but found nothing there as well. Don't know what else I can do.
