This is what intrigues me. I believe that he was kin to Emily (PHELPS) BAXTER. Richard came to TX date unknown to live with Mr. Charles BAXTER, in Karnes co, TX. You see in 1904 my maternal gf left home in England to live with his sister and his uncle the BAXTERs. Believe that Richard D JONES and Emily BAXTER were kin as her mother's maiden name is the same name as his mother's maiden name, WILLIAMS.
