M. Frenchie - Graveside services will be held Monday, August 24 at 11:30 a.m. for C.M. Frenchie Marty, 83, who passed away Aug 20. Mr. Marty was born in Pennsylvania. Officiating will be rev. H. D. Rutledge from the First Baptist Church of Shafter. Mr. Marty was on oilman for the last 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; son Phil Marty and daughter-in-law Judy; one sister, Adeline Crawford of Whittier; grandchildren Ronald Marty of Lancaster, Diane Hickerson, Carol Johnson, Shawna Marty and Julie Marty all of Bakersfield; great grandchildren Tod and Jason Marty of Nevada; Laurie and Phillip Hickerson, Scott and Alicia Johnson of Bakersfield.
