They received their friends during the day, and in the evening gave a magnificent Ball and Supper at the Gila House, at which were all the elite and fashion of the city. 3/14/1857 DIED - At San Luis Rey, on Saturday the 7th instant, after a short illness, Mr. John Curry of New Hampshire, aged about 25 years.
