Black, 70, Star Route, Maricopa, who died September 1 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Alan Stringfellow, pastor of the First Baptist church will officiate. Mr. Black was a native of Ohio and had resided in Kern County 69 years. He had engaged in the Oil industry for 31 years and was last employed as a maintenance man by General Petroleum Corporation.
