McAllister, 77, formerly of Shafter who died February 9 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Reverend I. H. Terry will officiate and interment will follow in Shafter Memorial Park. The Reverend I.H. Terry officiated and interment followed in the Shafter Memorial Park. Mr. McAllister was born in Indian Territory, Okla., and was a long-time resident of Shafter before moving to Bakersfield. He was employed by Jack Shafter as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Untied Pentecostal Church. He is survived by three daughters, Ruby Fickling of Texas, Mary and Juanita Muncy both of Bakersfield; one brother, Short McAllister of Oregon; three sisters, Mary Gregg of Texas, Lottie Howard of Oregon, Bertha of Okla., 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Dansby, Ronald Dansby, Harold Dansby, Robert Dansby, Levi Muncy, Jr., & David Muncy. Honorary pallbearers were Edwin Kratz, Roy Jones, Gene Powell, Arthur Dansby.
