He may be buried in San Diego, but definitely did not die there. In hopes of getting you some info, I did get a DC transcription on Ellen. They settled in Oklahoma to raise her five children, one, Gladys Slentz Hall, predeceased her. She always said "She was going to live to be 110 if the good Lord let's her." Well, He took her home at 84. she had been active in supply maintenance for over 27 years at Kern General Hospital. She was very active in her church and was a member of the Sunshine Class and Prayer Chain at Valley Baptist church. She loved camping, fishing and travel.
