We are planning a trip to visit relatives and would like to copy old photographs they have and put them into our computer in order to later publish those photos in a family book. Does anyone have suggestions about the best way to accomplish this and the best equipment to use to do so? I read some time ago that someone who had a digital camera liked using a video camera better and using something called "Snappy" to put images from the videotape onto the computer. Also, does anyone have suggestions about the best place to get a family history book published? I live in Maryland, but my relatives are mostly in upper South Carolina. I could use a publishing business near either place. I'll be thankful for any advice you can give me. Wanda Snow Franklin
