This may be old news, but the latest edition of "The old Farmers Almanac" year 2000 edition has an article on family reunion favorite recipes and the Snow family of North Carolina is featured predominately. There is even a little note about family sense of humor in names - i.e., Frost And Snow and Ice And Snow. Coincidentally, just that morning before reading the article, I went out and bought polish sausage because I was craving that very recipe that is listed for the Snow family. My mother used to fix souerkraut and polish sausage, but I've never fixed it my whole adult life. Even more interesting, my mother's great-grandfather was a Snow and his family came from North Carolina to Indiana, but we've never been able to connect to the Frost Snow families. Maybe this recipe is a clue that perhaps we are connected. Terri
