Marcia, Hi! My 3rd Great Grandmother was a Snow. Her name was Sussanah and she married David Blanton in Morgan County in 1824. Her fathers name was Thomas Snow and her mother was a Gooch or Joslin. I believe the Joslins may have been part Indian. I don't know about the Gooch family. She and David Blanton moved to Cass County Texas, and remained there for the duration of their lives and are buried there in TX. Many of their descendants remain in TX, (Blantons) however ,my branch came to California in 1937.
