John and Hannah (Sawyer) SNOW, had a son, John b. June 29, 1735 in Lancaster, MA, He had 3 sisters christened in 1742. named Abigail, Mary and Martha. Martha married Joseph Houghton and I believe they were living in Pownal, Bennington Co. VT in 1790, and that Martha was still there in 1800. There were 3 John Snows listed in the 1800 census of VT, one in Rutland Co and two in Windham Co. There was also a John Smow listed as one of the first settlers of Shutesbury, MA ca 1738-40. There was also a John SNOW, son of William SNOW, gr. son of Wm Snow, born in Bridgewater, MA 1732. His first wife died without children. His 2nd wife was Hannah Harlow, widow of Stoughton Willis. They had a son John born in 1762. I don't have a record of when or where these John Snows lived or died. Jane Woodward
