Now THIS is a brick wall......... Fountain Lafayette "Fate" SNOW was born in Tuscaloosa , Sep 1845 to unknown persons. He was raised by John D. "Dickie" Rober(t)son on Lock 15/16 on "the river" (Black Warrior?) Tuscaloosa Co., AL. He had one known brother Asbury Snow about a year younger than he, (born to the same unknown persons) and he was raised by an unknown family in Walker Co. AL........There may be a sister also.. I have been told that "their people" lived Castle Hill, 10th AV, Tuscaloosa, AL. Fate married Elizabeth C. "Eliza" HUGHES 1871 in Tuscaloosa. They had 9 children. Fate and Eliza moved along with 7 of the 9 children to Pike Co., AR about 1895 Any information out there on the parents, brother Asbury, who raised Asbury, John D. Roberson, Castle Hill, Lock on the river, anything at all will be greatly appreciated... Thanks, ~Sue~
